Price on application, please contact us directly for the cost.
Complete the tour enquiry form and we will be in touch.
Culturally correct Welcome to Country ceremonies can only be performed by Traditional Owners endorsed by their Language Group (Tribe) representative body (PBC).
Jane Bieundurry and Nyanyjili Footprints Tours are the only such endorsed person (organisation) for Bunuba Country, including Fitzroy Crossing and the land to the west and north of Fitzroy Crossing.
A typical ceremony will include an official welcome along with a brief oration written specifically for the Group being welcomed.
It will typically take 15 minutes. It could include a smoking ceremony (depends on clients' preferences), which will add an additional 10 minutes.
Aboriginal people believe that this is a way of introducing newcomers to Country and it’s spirits and will keep the visitors safe.
